I've had a lifelong passion for creating artistic hair and make-up, and always meeting the needs of my clients. Whether a doll or a neighbor, I was constantly looking for takers...with or without permission. I graduated from Hair Professionals Career College in 1999. I earned placement in the Design Center, which allowed me the responsibility of my own station and clients before graduation.
My experience spans from working at a locally-owned salon to a national chain, where I was promoted to a management position within three months. I had the benefit of learning the business-side of a salon while maintaining superior customer service. With the birth of my son in 2002, I took a few years off. I soon found that I couldn't stay away from what I truly loved, and was back behind the chair in 2006. Within a year I decided to pursue my dream of opening my own salon. I opened So Hair in November 2007, and I look forward to the growth of my business.
I continue to hone my skills through classes, lectures, and hair shows. In such a fast-paced industry, I make it a priority to keep up with the newest techniques, colors, and styles. I cater to all ages; kids to adults, and have experience with ethnic hair types. I specialize in razor-cuts as well as chemical techniques, however, I am always searching for new ideas I can bring to my clients. I can't wait to meet you, and offer the "pure joy of change".
